The greatest power that the Tarot holds is not that of fortune-telling but rather as a tool for introspection. Tarot is most impactful when it is used with intention and approached with sincerity and an open mind. Tarot can be used for meditation, awareness, journaling and goal-setting.
The potential for tapping into the Tarot for understanding and insight is virtually unlimited. But maybe you don’t know where to start, or you’re looking for new ideas … no matter your level of experience, this workshop is an opportunity to learn new and different ways of looking at the cards as a tool for personal growth, focus and clarity.
This workshop encourages discussion and practice through guided exercises designed to help you learn how to use the cards for journaling, setting intentions and visualizing goals, and gaining a deeper understanding of yourself through purposeful focus and meditation.

JAMES JUDE of James Jude Tarot is a clairsentient/clairaudient Tarot reader whose empathic insight enables him to connect with the cards and with his clients in a sincere and meaningful way. His approach to Tarot is a hybrid of scholarship, intuition, and spiritual connectedness.
James received his Tarot and Level 1 Reiki certifications from 22 Teachings School of Hermetic Science and Magical Arts in Los Angeles. He is an in-house reader at TarotArts in South Pasadena where he also serves as event programmer, moderator, workshop facilitator and teacher. James is also a regular reader and has hosted workshops at The Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Feliz.
In 2025, James founded the Los Angeles Festival of Tarot, which brought Tarot luminaries from around the globe together at PRS and TarotArts for a weekend celebrating the divinatory arts through presentations, workshops, mixers, readings and an exhibition of rare decks and original Tarot art.
James is the host of Tarot Talk Show, an online talk show in which he pulls cards from the Tarot to guide his conversations with such guests as Camelia Elias, Lezley Saar, Suzanne Treister, Gergely Bagameri, Maria Minnis, Chris Leech and Thea Wirsching. Tarot Talk Show is presented by Laetitia Barbier. James is also an award-winning Unit Publicist in film and television.
He has worked on such modern genre hits as Malignant; The Conjuring 2; The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It; Annabelle; Annabelle: Creation; Annabelle Comes Home; The Nun; The Curse of La Llorona; Lights Out; Insidious Chapter 3; Sinister 2; and the Stephen King adaptations of The Boogeyman and Salem's Lot.
