• Yule 2025: A Solstice Gathering of Light, Community & Celebration

Saturday, December 21, 2025 5:30 - 8:30 pm (Two Parts)

Madison Manor – Pasadena, CA

As the longest night of the year arrives, we gather to honor the turning of the Wheel and the quiet rebirth of the Sun. Yule calls us inward—to warmth, reflection, and connection—while also inviting joy, laughter, and celebration. This year’s gathering will be a two-part experience, moving from the sacred to the festive, honoring both the solemn beauty and the cozy delight of Midwinter.

Part I — A Ritual of Light, Stillness & Renewal 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Arrive at 5:00 pm)

Approx. 1 hour

We begin the evening with a guided Yule ritual inspired by old pagan traditions and the natural rhythms of the earth. This shared ceremony will include:
• Cleansing & grounding to release the old year

• Discussion of the meaning and energy of Yule

• The Candle Ceremony of Connection — igniting intention and shared light

• Robing in sacred shawls and scarves to honor the space and one another

• Reflection and release of the past cycle

• Setting intentions for the year to come through guided meditation, fire 

  work and shared blessing.

This portion of the evening invites stillness, presence, and communal reverence as we welcome the slow returning of the light. 

Please dress in fun festive clothing for part II, we will be wearing black robes during Part 1 to maintain the respectful energy during the ritual.

Part II — Feasting, Merriment & Holiday Joy 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Once the ritual closes, we shift into celebration—warm, cheerful, and full of life. Expect:

• The Fantastical Fun Show: Yule Edition (games, laughter, surprises!)

     Bring a fun holiday gift in the $15.00-$20.00 range. No food or drink. No glitter.   Everyone who brings a gift will participate. :) 

• A lively holiday-inspired drum circle

• Seasonal foods, delicious drinks, and cozy treats

• Music, conversation, warmth, and the joy of gathering together

This is a time to celebrate community, to share stories, to eat well, and to enjoy the spirit of the season together. Please, feel free to dress in fun festive clothing 

All Are Welcome to Attend One or Both Parts

Whether you come from a pagan path, a spiritual path, a secular love of nature, or simply a desire for community, or just get down and party, Yule invites us all. There is no belief requirement—only respect, presence, and shared warmth. 

But, if you want to come just for the par-tay, come later! No worries! :)
